You want connection.
You also want to feel like yourself.
Perhaps dating has begun to feel discouraging. You’re unsure how to express your needs, or you keep finding yourself in situations that don’t fit what you want. Maybe you’re in a relationship and would like more understanding, clearer communication, or space to navigate a change together.
Dating and relationship coaching offers a collaborative, goal-focused space to reflect, clarify your priorities, and work on practical next steps. Your coach helps you explore your choices; the decisions remain yours.
At The Circle of Wellness Montréal, the starting point is your experience and the kind of support you’re looking for.
What is relationship and dating coaching?
Coaching offers a collaborative space to understand your needs, clarify your goals, and explore how you connect with others. Together with your coach, you reflect on your experiences and identify practical steps you can try in everyday life. Your focus might be dating with greater confidence, expressing your needs, or building stronger connections with a partner or family.
Where would you like to begin?
You don’t need to know exactly what to ask for. These two paths can help you find a coach to speak with.

Practical goals, personal to you
What can you work on in coaching?

Your focus depends on your needs and your coach’s approach. Possible goals include:
Know what matters to you
Identify the values, needs, and preferences you want to bring into your relationships. Reflect on the difference between your own priorities and outside expectations.
Set realistic boundaries
Consider your limits around time, availability, and responsibilities, and how to communicate them respectfully.
Communicate your needs
Explore ways to express a request, ask a clear question, or approach a conversation you have been avoiding.
Make intentional choices
Notice patterns in your own responses, explore alternatives, and choose a manageable next step that fits your goals.
For example: You might bring a recent dating conversation to a session, clarify what you want to ask, and leave with wording to practise. Or you might explore a recurring disagreement with your partner and choose a different way to approach it. These are examples of possible goals, not promised results

Finding the right service
Coaching or therapy?
-
Both can involve relationships, self-awareness, and change. Coaching here focuses on goals and practical steps; it does not diagnose or treat mental health conditions and is not a substitute for psychotherapy.
-
Therapy may be more appropriate when you need support with significant emotional distress, trauma, or mental health concerns. Our clinic also offers psychological and psychotherapy services. Read more about therapy
