Support Group for Parents & Caregivers of Neurodivergent Clients
Welcome to our Support Group for Parents and Caregivers of Children/Adults with Neurodivergent functioning. The goal is to provide a safe and nurturing space designed for individuals who provide care and support to those with neurodivergent conditions. Our group recognizes the unique challenges and rewards that come with caregiving in this context, and we aim to foster a community of understanding, encouragement, and shared experiences.
What We Offer
Peer Support: Engage in open discussions with fellow caregivers who understand the complexities of supporting neurodivergent clients.
Emotional Well-being: Participate in conversations that promote mental health, stress relief, and emotional resilience.
Networking Opportunities: Build connections with other caregivers to share experiences, tips, and resources.
Resources:Â Access informative sessions led by professionals covering topics such as communication strategies, self-care, and advocacy.
Who Can Join
This support group is open to all caregivers, including family members, friends, and professional caregivers, who support neurodivergent individuals. Whether you are new to caregiving or have years of experience, you are welcome to join our community.
Meeting Details
Faciliator: Brittanie LaForge, RSW
Brittanie utilizes her vast experience in community involvement, family relationships, and personal support to promote empowerment and healing. She has a strong background in working with neurodivergent clients which has enriched her understanding of diverse needs and perspectives. Through her tailored approaches, she fosters an inclusive environment that encourages growth and self-advocacy among neurodivergent individuals.

Duration: 12-1:30pm, bi-weekly
Cost: $ 30-50/per session/session
Location: Online
Each session includes time for sharing, discussion, and expert-led segments tailored to the needs of our members.
