Martine Hardy, MA
Social Worker

Individual  Therapy

Martine's Story

Social worker and full member of the Ordre des travailleurs sociaux et des thérapeutes conjugaux et familiaux du Québec (OTSTCFQ), with over 13 years of experience working with adolescents, adults, and older adults navigating moments of vulnerability, transition, or crisis.

My role is to offer a safe, compassionate, and confidential space where you can share your concerns, express your emotions, and find concrete ways to move forward. Every person already carries unique resources within them: my approach is to help you recognize, mobilize, and strengthen them so you can regain balance, autonomy, and confidence.

Therapeutic Approach

My approach is grounded in solution-focused brief therapy (SFBT), a method that highlights your strengths and resources to build concrete solutions tailored to your reality.

● Focusing on solutions rather than problems: rather than dwelling at length on past difficulties, the focus is on what can be done, here and now, to feel better
● Valuing your strengths and successes: everyone already has abilities, even if they sometimes feel invisible during a crisis
● Clear, achievable goals: sessions aim to define precise, realistic goals together, tailored to your needs
● Brief, effective interventions: this method favors focused sessions that support change quickly, while respecting each person' s pace
