Ash's Story
Ash is a social worker passionate about human connection and deeply committed to creating authentic, compassionate relationships. Since 2022, she has supported her clients with a structured, warm, and respectful approach that respects their pace.
Her semi-directive to directive style allows her to co-create a clear intervention plan with each person, so they know exactly what will be addressed in the sessions. For Ash, coaching is first and foremost a collaborative relationship, where the individual is at the heart of their own journey.
Therapeutic Approach
Ash's primary approach is systemic. However, it integrates tools from several therapeutic modalities in order to support each person in a tailored and holistic way:
-
An approach based on self-compassion and resilience to shame
-
Cognitive behavioral therapy (CBT)
-
Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT)
-
Dialectical behavior therapy (DBT)
-
Attachment theory-based approach
-
Mindfulness-based and somatic approaches
-
Trauma-sensitive approach
-
Exploration of internal conflicts informed by Internal Family Systems (IFS)
For couples interventions, Ash favors the research-informed approach of the Gottman Institute as well as Emotion-Focused Therapy (EFT).
Within the Jewish community, Ash integrates faith-based approaches by incorporating Jewish thought on mental health into the therapeutic relationship.
