Haisha's Story
I am a social worker registered with the Ordre des travailleurs sociaux et des thérapeutes conjugaux et familiaux du Québec (OTSTCFQ). I bring a calm, gentle, and grounded presence to my counselling sessions, understanding that asking for help can be a big and sometimes difficult step. My goal is to create a welcoming space where clients feel supported, respected, and accompanied as we explore challenges and work toward their goals.
Therapeutic Approach
My approach is client-centered, supportive, and adapted to each person’s needs and pace. I draw from solution-focused, strength-based, humanistic, and systemic perspectives to help clients identify goals, recognize existing strengths, and better understand relational and family dynamics. I aim to walk alongside clients with warmth and clarity, offering gentle guidance and practical support when needed. For clients who wish, faith and spirituality can be respectfully integrated into sessions in a way that aligns with their values and beliefs.
How can Haisha help you?
-
I work with individuals, teenagers, couples, families, and parents. This includes parents of neurodivergent children, such as those with autism, ADHD, or intellectual disabilities.
-
I support parents and caregivers, as well as others, who may feel overwhelmed, uncertain, or emotionally exhausted, providing a space to talk openly about the challenges they face. I also help clients navigate life transitions, parenting stress, relationship difficulties, and concerns around self-esteem and self-worth. I believe growth comes from having the right support and guidance, which I provide in a caring and collaborative way.
